Information to Parents

J. J. ACADEMY's primary goal lies in changing the lives of the students making them agents of social change. J. J. ACADEMY is committed to providing the best education possible for all students to achieve this goal, a strong partnership must exist between the staff, students and parents. As part of this partnership, it is important that everyone be aware of and support the policies and practices outlined in this handbook. There are exceptional opportunities for highly policies and practices of the school challenges their interests and abilities.

We expect all students to achieve their full potential for personal development and educational success. We are committed to equipping students with the knowledge, values and skills to become lifelong learners and responsible contributing citizens of a changing global community.

Let our children live their lives and experience different facets of life which comes through different activities in and out of school. For example, a picnic will just be a picnic to the parents but look at what the students see. A place where they will be independent to make their own decisions, work as a team, collaboration, self reliance and follow instructions amongst many others...

We are pleased that you have chosen J. J. Academy for your child's education. We are confident that we could work together to make your child a successful person. Your personal interest and involvement will encourage your child to perform better and thus help to improve the overall progress and discipline of the entire school.

  • Regulations regarding uniform, hair and discipline are to be strictly followed.
  • You are requested to speak about the teachers and the school with high esteem. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline by seeing that their children prepare lessons daily and by taking active and keen interest in the activities of the school. Please note your language will be USED verbatim by your wards.
  • Parents/ Guardians are not allowed to see the students or interview the teachers during the class hours without permission of the Principal. Suggestions regarding your ward or the school or the teachers may kindly be briefly noted and dropped in the suggestion box.
  • Please read the rules given in the handbook. Gheck it regularly for any entries made by the teachers or the Principal and sign in the proper column. If you have any message to the class teacher, please write it in the handbook on a specified date.
  • Parents / Guardians are specially requested to fill in their proper address, telephone numbers etc. So that they could be contacted in an emergency. They are advised to fill in the space allotted for the specimen signature.
  • Parents are requested not to ask their children to come away from school during school hours except in case of emergency.
  • Parents should collect their children immediately after the school gets over daily. The school will not be responsible for the care of the pupils after the school hours.
